We detail and layout industrial plants of varying complexity using Tekla Structures – the modern engineering engine – integrated with our very own in-house developed Tekla Add-Ons. This ensures quicker, more effective output of fabrication drawings and 3D models – thus reducing time, risk and cost factors affecting a project. All projects can then be viewed as 3D models which contain smart elements employed in a data-rich BIM, viewable in Trimble Connect.

Detail Fabrication Drawings
Tekla Structures is known for the generation of structural steel fabrication drawings.
Adding connections, grating and handrailing is done swiftly by using the Tekla built-in macros together with some of our own configured add-ins. Detailed drawings, IFC files and reports are created within a matter of hours instead of days. Revisioning is easy and revision control is integral with the product.
Civil & Rebar Detailing
The automated rebar detailing functions Tekla offers supports quick, accurate and auditable civil layout and reinforcing schedules. Due to the fact that it’s done within the same Tekla model, we can guarantee that the structural steel and civils will tie up on site. The rebar schedules are generated within seconds of model completion.
Detailing the civils in the same platform as the steel eliminates the manual interface checking and brings the civil designer onto the BIM platform.

ParaMatic Add-Ons automate repeat structures are supporting ParaMatic plant layouts and mechanical design, changing the general opinion that Tekla is only good to design and detail structures. Tekla is one of the more advanced modelling tools available to design and detail plate-work and ParaMatic can deliver the same quick functionality, but on a common platform, eliminating errors and delays.
Cabling Support System Layout & Detailing
Using our Internationally sold Cabling Add-On for Tekla, we are able to seamlessly run cabling and support systems/racking within the structural model and support it with structural steel without having to import references from another CAD system.
Our Cabling and Support Systems Add-On for Tekla models an accurate, automated and customizable network of smart cable supports, connections or bracket types. The network of configurations ranges from elbows to tees, with cross-connections and cable layouts in any shape or size.
With just a click of a few buttons, we can automatically generate detailed fabrication drawings, reports and bills of purchase.
